Family and Consumer Sciences is the umbrella for the ECE Pathway and the Nutrition Pathway. Through these pathways, students will learn skills that they can use throughout their life. Students will be able to use the knowledge learned to choose a career, go to college, succeed in life, and obtain a job. ECE teaches students how to work with and prepare for a career with children while the Nutrition Pathway teaches students how to make sound choices when preparing and choosing foods that are nutritionally balanced for a healthy lifestyle and to learn about careers dealing with foods and nutrition.
